Found myself thinking about the novella Who Goes There? by John Campbell, which served as inspiration for the 50s movie The Thing From Another World and the more accurate interpretation as John Carpenter’s The Thing.  Anyone who is a fan of the latter should read it (it’s on the excellent Scary For Kids site) to see how close to Campbell’s 1938 story it is.  The maddest thing for me was that a story from the 30s had body-horror in it…
